Selling Starlink Accessories on Amazon: Questions Marketplace Sellers Ask Us

Listing compliance, bundle strategy, differentiation and the documentation that keeps a marketplace account safe — answered for sellers, not for consumers.

Most of our marketplace customers are not large accounts — they are one or two-person operations selling into a category where buyers search by specification. Their questions are therefore about listing claims, compliance files, differentiation and cash cycle rather than about factory capability. These are the ones we are asked most, answered properly.

Own-brand and private label

Yes. A light brand — laser marking plus a custom label on our catalogue product — is the fastest route and is available from 500 pieces. A full private label with printed retail packaging and moulded inserts is also from 500 pieces and adds artwork and packaging lead time. If you would rather keep the packaging in-house, we can supply bulk-packed units and let you do the labelling yourself. Most sellers start with the lighter option, learn which SKU actually moves, and move to full private label once the volume justifies it.

Documentation for the listing

Marketplaces ask for evidence, and they ask for it in a hurry. We provide the material and safety declarations, the ingress report where the listing makes an ingress claim, and the salt-spray report for marine products — with the model number on the document matching the model on the invoice, which is the detail that causes problems when it does not match. Where you need a declaration in your own company name, we issue that too. Send us the model and we will return the complete file set rather than a link to a generic page.

Compatibility claims and return rates

The most common cause of a bad return on this category is a vague compatibility claim. "Fits Starlink" tells a buyer nothing, and if it turns out to be wrong, the return and the review are both attributed to your listing. State the kit, the revision coverage and the clamp range. Our maintained model record gives you that wording per product and keeps it current as kits are revised, which means your listing does not quietly become wrong.

Differentiation

Competing on price in this category is a losing game, because the low end is always available. Competing on documented specification is not, and it is cheaper. A listing that names the magnet grade, states the clamp range in millimetres, publishes the IP rating with the report attached and offers a stated warranty will outperform a cheaper generic listing — including on conversion, because the buyer who is reading specification is already the buyer you want.

Bundle strategy

Bundle listings first. A mount, a cable and a case sold as one SKU gives a better landed cost, answers the "what else do I need" question without a support conversation, and cuts the number of shipments the customer has to track. Keep single-item listings as entry points, and use the compatibility data to make the bundle contents unambiguous — the most common bundle complaint is not the wrong item but the customer expecting a power supply that was not in the box.

Replenishment and planning

Every order is tied to an approved sample and a written specification, so a reorder repeats against the same documentation and the same production setup rather than starting from scratch. Tell us your consumption rate and we will flag a reorder point before you run out, and we can hold a small buffer stock of your top SKU for the first two reorder cycles to protect your listing ranking from a stock-out.

Start with a quotation

Send the models you intend to list, the target retail price, the market and the expected annual volume. You will have a cost build-up, a MOQ tier, a lead time and a compliance file list back within one working day. If your volume does not support a private label programme yet, we will say so and show you the catalogue route that fits — most marketplace sellers start there, and there is nothing wrong with that.
